Dr. Binder is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. His clinical expertise includes general neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation and functional neurosurgery, spine surgery, and brain tumor surgery. Beyond standard training in clinical neurosurgery, Dr. Binder's research background and Ph.D. in neuroscience enable him to critically evaluate evidence-based approaches and develop and apply the latest technologies in an effort to enhance the treatment of his patients. Dr. Binder believes strongly in providing a customized approach to each patient, using the services of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Dr. Binder strives to provide the same quality of care to each patient that he would provide for his own family members.
